The report of the Claygate: The Way Forward team was presented to a packed Village Meeting at Holy Trinity yesterday (18 June).
The report includes results of the Residents' Survey together with the recommendations of the working groups who looked at six areas of village life - shops & businesses, housing, transport & parking, leisure & recreation, health & wellbeing and environment.
Steve Wells, who chaired the meeting, reports: "It was great to see so many people at the meeting, showing just how much they care about our village and its future. It makes the work, led by the CVA over the past few months worthwhile as we hand over such a rich mix of ideas and initiatives to the re-invigorated Parish Council who will work with Elmbridge Borough Council in a productive partnership with residents to turn ideas into reality for the benefit of all."
